A: When we provide one of our employees to your company – we are the “employer of record” and are responsible for paying and reporting all employer costs, such as State and Federal Taxes, Social Security, State and Federal Unemployment, Workers’ compensation, Oregon Sick Time, ACA benefits and all payroll related expense.

Q: When do you bill?
A: We bill weekly based on hours worked and the wage paid.

Q: What does your bill rate include?
A: Our hourly bill rate includes all payroll related expense.

Q: How does a staffing service work?

A: It’s simple and easy to utilize Confident Construction Workforce. One phone call, with a job description and job schedule and our staffing specialists begin an in-depth search for the perfect candidate for your position. If we already have the employee in our files, we can often have an employee at your job site within one or two hours. If we need to recruit and interview potential employees for your position, we work very quickly, utilizing a vast network of contacts and resources to find the right employee for your company.

Q: Do you offer a staffing service guarantee?  What if the employee you send does not meet my criteria?
A: Yes, we offer a first day risk-free total Guarantee – “If you are not happy – you don’t pay.” This pertains to our first day guarantee – where we cancel all charges to any client who is not satisfied with our placement and replace the person absolutely free. We pay our employee out of our own pocket for all hours worked that first day.

Q: What does it cost me to be represented to employers by Confident Construction Workforce and to have Confident Construction Workforce help me find work?
A. Our services to applicants and employees are absolutely FREE.  We are always paid by our client companies.

A: We are always happy to accept your online application. If you are applying for one of our current open jobs, please specify the job that interests you in our online application. If you are interested in more than one job or industry, specify that in your application as well.

Q: When and where should I send you my resume?
A:  We are always happy to receive your resume, simply email your resume to us at jobs@confidentconstructionworkforce.com.  It is helpful if you let us know in your email what type of job you are seeking at this time.  It would be ideal to receive your resume at the same time you apply online.

Q: When can I apply in person at a Confident Construction Workforce office?
A: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Set aside at least one hour for the application and testing process. Our Staffing Representatives will review your application and see how we might be able to help you find your next job or career placement.

Q: What items should I bring with me when I apply?
A: When you apply with Confident, bring your employment history and your Resume, any Letters of Recommendation or references, and two forms of government issued ID. Examples of valid IDs include your driver’s license, state ID, passport, social security card, birth certificate, or any other legal ID that qualifies for I-9 requirements so we can complete the hiring process. If you are applying for licensed or certified positions, bring your Certifications, Licenses and other docs required for specific types of employment.

Q: How long do your temporary jobs last? A: Temporary jobs vary from part-time to full-time hours and can be for short jobs or for long-term Temp-to-Hire careers where you begin on our payroll and then after a few months you are rolled-over to our client payroll and become their full-time employee

Q: How long do your contract positions jobs last?
A: Contract positions vary from 3 months to 24 months. Each contract is for a specified length of time.

Q: How long do your Direct hire placements last?
A: Direct Hire placements are Full-time careers where you are the direct employee of our client from the first day and continue indefinitely.

Q: What types of temporary or temp-to-hire placements do you normally provide?
A: We have a wide variety of temporary and temp-to-hire jobs throughout the state of Oregon – from entry level through highly skilled positions. We also offer opportunities in the State of Washington.  Confident provides many job opportunities at all levels of pay.
